Grape Ale is a "Portuguese Beer" resulting from the collaboration of the experienced winemaker Anselmo Mendes and the brewers of cerveja letra. They lead the design of a recipe with strong connection to wine and the Minho region.

Fermentation with Saison yeast, in the presence of grape berries of the Loureiro variety, results in a surprisingly fruity beer, with acidity and tropical aromas resulting from the grape compounds through the rupture of the berries during fermentation.
